LENS FAQ’s

How is LENS different from traditional Neurofeedback?

LENS stands out from other neurofeedback systems by requiring only a few minutes per session and no effort or focus from the client. Unlike traditional neurofeedback, which demands 30 minutes of active engagement, LENS allows clients to simply relax. Additionally, it typically delivers positive results in fewer sessions.

 What does LENS feel like?

LENS neurofeedback is a painless, non-invasive procedure involving a small electrode placed on the scalp or body. It emits low-amplitude electromagnetic pulses, usually imperceptible. Some may feel mild, temporary sensations like tapping or warmth, but the process is generally well-tolerated.

When can I expect to see results?

The timeframe for results with LENS neurofeedback varies by individual. Some notice improvements after a few sessions, while others may need more time, depending on the condition’s nature and severity. Significant progress is often reported within weeks to a few months of consistent sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

Many people experience complete relief from negative symptoms after around 10 sessions, with some achieving this in just 4-6 sessions. Others choose to continue LENS long-term to fine-tune specific areas of their performance.

When should I NOT do LENS?

If you are battling a cold or virus, please wait until you recover before your next LENS session. If you have an appointment scheduled while unwell, contact us to reschedule. For those who are pregnant, LENS sessions will need to wait until after pregnancy, as no studies have been conducted on its use during this time.

 Is LENS FDA approved?

Yes.

How much does LENS cost?

LENS sessions cost $125 per session. There are packages available that lowers the per cost session amount.
