HOW LONG WILL MY INITIAL APPOINTMENT TAKE?
You can expect to spend approximately three hours at your first appointment. This time will include completing required paperwork, 1-2 hours of personal, face-to-face time with Ms. Adams, followed by any labs ordered (these may include blood work drawn in our office, and/or lab kits that you will take home with you, as well as a complete explanation of each ordered test by our clinical staff). You can anticipate that your 1st and 2nd visits will take the most time, with subsequent visits requiring less time. This enables us to get you moving quickly on your road to health in a shorter period of time. YOUR FIRST VISIT ALONE IS EQUIVALENT TO 10-15 VISITS AT A TYPICAL PHYSICIAN’S OFFICE! This equates to greater savings for you, the patient, and the opportunity for us to collaboratively work together to develop an individualized plan specifically for you.
WILL YOU BILL MY INSURANCE CARRIER FOR MY VISIT?
We do not bill insurance carriers for services, however we provide all necessary paperwork in order for you to file directly with your own insurance company. We are not in-network with any insurance companies, however, we allow the laboratory companies that we use to bill directly for you, and the majority of them are in-network with your insurance carrier (per case-by case basis). The majority of our patients receive reimbursement for our services. Payment is expected at the time that services are rendered.
HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO PAY AT MY VISIT?
A typical initial visit is approximately $250. This cost does not include any co-payments for labs (if applicable), or any supplements that you choose to purchase. Subsequent visits are less. Ms. Adams also does phone consults for a reasonable fee. We even sell pharmaceutical-grade supplements much lower than retail. Every effort is made to keep your visit as cost-effective as possible, while receiving the HIGHEST QUALITY OF CARE AVAILABLE.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Ms. Adams is happy to serve you as your primary provider, but she is also very accommodating and willing to work in collaboration with your primary care provider. You may find that this works best, as The Center for Proactive Medicine is not a 24/7 clinic. However, you will find that you have ample access to Ms. Adams and her clinical staff. If you require prescription refills, please allow the office at least 48 hours to accommodate your request. Any messages left will be returned within two (2) business days.
