For a Good Time…..Have a Myer’s Cocktail??

DO YOU SUFFER FROM:

MIGRAINES? FATIGUE? FIBROMYALGIA? ALLERGIES? ASTHMA? HEART DISEASE? HEADACHES? MUSCLE SPASMS? UPPER RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS? CHRONIC SINUSITIS? SEASONAL ALLERGIC RHINITIS? PARESTHESIAS (NUMBNESS/TINGLING)? CHRONIC PAIN? HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE? INSOMNIA? DEPRESSION? HYPOTHYROIDISM? HYPERTHRYOIDISM?

Then you are missing out on an extremely effective treatment!

John Myers, MD, a physician from Baltimore, Maryland, pioneered the use of intravenous vitamins and minerals as part of his prescribed treatment of various medical problems. When he died in 1984, Dr. Alan R. Gaby, MD had been utilizing Dr. Myers’ protocol for some time; even modifying it to better enhance the overall health of the patients that he was/is treating.

Dr. Gaby reports that over a 25-year period, including Dr. Myer’s patients, and his personal experience of over an 11-year period, he’s observed “dramatic” clinical results in approximately 15,000 treatments! He also noted a subset of individuals with the following conditions who responded favorably: chronic urticaria (hives), angina, congestive heart failure, hyperthyroidism, dysmenorrhea (painful menses), and even showing benefit as an adjunct to cancer therapies.

How does it work?

By intravenous administration of nutrients, we can achieve serum concentrations that are not obtainable with oral, or even intramuscular administration. For example, as the oral dose of vitamin C is increased progressively, the serum concentration of ascorbate tends to approach an upper limit, as a result of both saturation of gastrointestinal absorption and a sharp increase in renal clearance of the vitamin. When the daily intake of vitamin C is increased 12-fold, from 200mg/day to 2500mg/day, the plasma concentration increases by only 25%, from 1.2 to 1.5mg/dL. In contrast, IV administration of 50g/day of vitamin C resulted in an average peak plasma level of 80mg/dL. The same goes for Magnesium and other nutrients.

What does this mean for you?

Good question! It means that certain nutrients (vitamins and minerals) have shown to have pharmacological effects when given IV. For example: An antiviral effect of vitamin C has been demonstrated at a concentration of 10-15mg/dL, a level achievable with IV but NOT with oral therapy! At concentrations of 88mg/dL, in vitro, vitamin C destroyed 72% of histamine (allergy response) present! Magnesium ions promote relaxation of both the vascular (heart) and bronchial (lungs) smooth muscle–effects that might be useful in the acute treatment of vasospastic angina (chest pain) and bronchial asthma, as magnesium plays a KEY role in mitochondrial energy production!

Intravenous vitamins and minerals may be more effective than oral or IM treatments for correcting intracellular nutrient deficits. Many healthy patients choose to receive periodic injections because it enhances their overall well-being for periods of a week to several months. (MYSELF INCLUDED!!!)
