Excellent article. I'm a huge fan of probiotic supplementation. BUT, it is a highly individualized issue. Not all strains are recommended for some people. And the more potent or the more strains are in a product does not necessarily mean it's better OR good for you. In fact, it can be just the opposite. Those with DAO SNP mutations and enzyme deficiency may really have a hard time with certain strains as they are pro-inflammatory via high histamine levels. Do NOT blindly take any probiotic.
